Mushroom Stroganoff

Using mushrooms, you’ll forget there is no meat in here.

1# Amish Country Kitchen Homestyle noodles (or any wide egg noodle)
2 cups cream
1-2 T flour
2 T butter
8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
1 medium to large onion, chopped
garlic cloves, chopped, to taste
1/2 to 3/4# Parrano cheese, cubed (Trader Joe’s carries it)
olive oil
~1 T Worcestershire sauce
black pepper
white pepper
salt
nutmeg
dried green onion (fresh if it’s in season)

  • Cook noodles in large oven-friendly pot and drain; put back in pot
  • Mix in rest of ingredients.
  • Bake, covered, at 375 F for 30 minutes
