Does anyone use Feng Shui, or wish to? While it is not part of the healing work I do with clients, it is a tool I have utilized in my home to great effect.  In a nutshell, Feng Shui is the art (science, some would argue) of strategically placing objects in one’s environment to create harmony, and energeticly affect various areas of one’s life.  Each space has nine areas, divided up like a tic-tac-toe grid:  Power, Reputation, Relationships, Family, Heart, Creativity, Spirituality, Lifepath, & Travel.

Wading through the books and websites was a bit overwhelming, so I created a Ba Gua of my own, a “Feng Shui Cheat Sheet”, so to speak.  While there is much, much more to Feng Shui than what is covered in my cheat sheet, it does cover the basics.  Using this tool, at a glance you can determine where things may need adjusting.  Simply hold the sheet face up while standing in the doorway of the room you are working on, facing in (note:  you can also use the grid as a whole-house tool).  Visually divide the room into the nine segments as defined on the sheet, checking to see whether you have objects appropriate to that topic and go from there.  It does not require an entire re-arranging of one’s space – though you may be tempted! – just shifting a few things can create change.  For example, I had my Family & Creativity “corners” backwards, and once I switched things around, I immediately felt a shift in the energy of the space; it was quite amazing!

Give it a try – you can always put things back the way they were.
